We may be the solution for you. We currently provide wireless broadband internet service to certain areas of Sultan, Gold Bar and Monroe. In the future, we hope to expand east along Highway 2 to service Index and Skykomish.

• What is "Wireless Internet Service"?
• Wireless Internet access is exactly that, "wireless". Iron Goat Networks, LLC provides high speed, cost effective solutions for Internet access via wireless; no phone lines are needed. There is no need to worry about slow downloads, busy signals, or disconnections. With wireless Internet, your computer is always on the Internet.
• Do we service your area?
• Due to the nature of the service we are providing, you must have line of sight to one of our towers: Monroe
  Sultan
  Fern Bluff (Ben Howard Road)
  in order to get service. Line of sight means you have to be able to see one of our towers from your property; you can be a few miles away, but if there is a hill or too many trees in the way, we will not be able to provide you with service.

  Before we do an installation, we perform a site survey to determine whether or not we will be able to provide you with service. If you provide us with your address either via phone or e-mail, we can do a quick survey with topographic software to determine if service is viable. If it appears we can provide service, we will go out to your home and verify service is available before installation.

• How much does it cost?
• We currently have four different price plans which range from a setup fee of $175 and $45 a month to a setup and installation fee of $230 and $45 a month. Each price plan has a different contract term. Detailed pricing information and a copy of our contract can be found here.
• Do I need to purchase any equipment?
• You need is a computer with an ethernet card and a modern operating system. If there are multiple computers in the home you will need a NAT router. All other equipment is provided by Iron Goat Networks.
• What does the equipment look like?
• The antenna we provide is a 16"X14" flat off-white antenna. Pictures of a typical antenna can be found here.
• How fast is wireless internet?
• At an absolute maximum, depending on weather conditions and radio interference in your area, your connection can receive information at about 1.544mb per second, equal to the speed of a T1 connection.
